She is returned to her cell, and she is freed by TEC, a computer who has developed feelings for the princess. Peach and TEC talk about love for a while.

After this, we see Bowser learn about Princess Peach's kidnapping and Mario's quest for the crystal stars. Bowser wants to re-kidnap Peach, and he wants to steal the crystal stars so Mario can't have them.
