Part 7 of a video walkthrough for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the Gamecube. In this part, Mario begins Chapter Two: The Great Boggly Tree. A trio of assassins, called the Shadow Sirens, are in the area, but they are too distracted by their in-fighting to fight Mario.

Mario and friends continue to the Great Boggly Tree, which is locked. They need to get the help of Madame Flurrie, a local wind spirit, in order to enter the tree. Madame Flurrie says she will help, as soon as Mario retrieves her necklace. This necklace is in the hands of the Shadow Sirens.

Mario and crew defeat the Shadow Sirens and get Flurrie's necklace back. They return the necklace to Flurrie, and she joins the party. Flurrie helps them get inside the Great Boggly Tree, where most of the Punies have been kidnapped by X-Nauts.
