This is a segmented speedrun of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door by NamiNami. The segments have been put together into chapters which correspond to the sections of the game. NamiNami has added subtitles on each video which state how many retries a segment took.

This video was played in real time on a console. It is NOT tool-assisted, and IS designed to show skill.

NamiNami's comments on the run are as follows:

"First of all huge thanks to Miles for planning the route of this run. I wouldn't have had any interest in speedrunning the game if I hadn't randomly checked it first. Also I want to thank Swordless Link for hosting this run on his channel.

So far this game doesn't have any major glitches / skips, so the run is very long and pretty basic. However, it is full of luck manipulation and therefore can't be played in a single segment using the same strategy. I was a bit impatient at the end so you can see more mistakes in the last Chapters. But I'm very satisfied with the run after going through all of it."

Specifically, on this chapter, he said:

"Countless restarts at the Shadow Sirens battle to get a shooting star. I still can remember the lenght of the dialogues. The Boggly Tree has many difficult parts but I did well in this chapter."
