Paranormal Activity is one of those movies that has caught the attention of moviegoers slowly but surely across North America. Terrifying audiences in select cities over the last several weeks, Paranormal Activity and distributing studio Paramount have been heavily promoting the film's website and it's "Demand It" feature which allows interested viewers to demand that the film play in their area. For a movie that was made for about eleven thousand dollars, the box office returns thus far have exceeded just over thirty million!
