Part 1: Start of something new and olden
(NOTE: This is just a sort of presentation. I won't start playing the actual game until the next part, so skip ahead if you don't care to hear what I have to say at this particular moment.)
And we're off! Next project: The Blackwell series of point-and-click 2D adventure games. I will play this with as little graphical filtering and manipulation as possible - I doubt the actual video benefits from it at all. That said, I have the lowest-tier filtering active, '2x nearest-neighbour', marking the game resolution as 640x480 in the configuration applet. That said, you can indeed play this game in fullscreen 1920x1080 goodness if you so choose (but your PC will hate you for it).
What game is this, then, and why? Just keep the previous project in mind (Echo Night: Beyond), and keep watching. Things will be illuminated.
