I make YouTube shorts that try to fill a need. This is the suggestion that probably helped me the most. One day is not forgetting him forever. My brain was stuck in an unhealthy loop. I needed to force myself to snap out of the loop in order to form new thoughts. I used a technique I learned during my teen years, when I gave up thinking about my ex-boyfriend during the 40 days of lent.

I am just a mom. I am not a professional.
