An unlikely partnership between Kabbu the beetle and Vi the bee blossoms and the duo embark on a dangerous venture to Snakemouth Den, a treacherous cavern and suspected home of an ancient artifact.

Within it's depths the pair find the ruins of a roach city along with a moth; an explorer named Leif, guarded by a monstrous spider. Together, the two free him and delve deeper after a harrowing escape.

Further within it's depths the trio happen upon the artifact, but upon it's retrieval the ruin begins to collapse and the spider appears once again intent on sealing their fates. As water fills the cavern the trio have no choice but to confront the spider and escape the cavern flood before it's too late. Upon their return they are recognized by the queen of the Ant Kingdom, Elizant the 2nd.

Elizant tells the trio of the other artifacts of legend and requests the team to find them so that they will never be used for destruction.
