So after being split up by the Silence, River must reclaim the Doctor's Psychic Paper and Sonic Screwdriver, then hide them in places the Doctor was sure to look. After that River must steal ...... a-hem ...... I mean "borrow" the Time Vortex Manipulator from the Silence, hide with it with the help of perception filters and rest long enough for the Doctor to rescue her many years later.
Being in the realm of the Silence is very spooky indeed.
