And... Not really a load-bearing boss! OMG! Well... Let's hit the self-destruct switch so we can still make a dramatic escape!

No less than TWO cheesy ballads here, folks! Wring 'em dry.

Note what Helmer and Mr Red says in their part of the ending. They're talking about Albedo - but how can he be said to play 'such a minor role'? And how does Helmer know so much about what's going on? In Xenogears, they made it a sort of plot-device that the save plates were connected to an extant data center, but that isn't the case in this game world.

Note that the singer you hear in the background is Joanne Hogg, who recorded a song for Xenogears as well, again composed by Yasunori Mitsuda.

The fun is only just getting started, though. The philosophy-laden anime insanity continues in Xenosaga Episode 2: Jenseits von Gut und Böse.

Changes to the next game includes:
- All new combat system
- New visual style; to cater to markets that brushed off Episode I due to the anime esthetics
- More sidequests
- New menu system and design
- Rudimentary HDR (On a PS2!)
- New composers
- Music outside of cutscenes
- AGWS transitioning to ES mechs
- Mechs get HP (STR?) by level-up instead of buying new frames
- Mechs get different special attacks depending on the pilots
- New equipment/skill system; no weapon/accessory purchases or drops, except ES accessories
- No shops, beyond selling stuff as part of a sidequest
- Double techs/ethers
- MOMO will wreck everything
- Post-story content (keep playing after the end credits)
