Welcome to our comprehensive guide on how to approach and activate the Flare Stone, followed by putting out the Flare Crest in three parts, as part of the Main Quest in Wuthering Waves. This guide provides detailed instructions to help you navigate through Truthseeker's Pass efficiently.
Part One: Activating the Flare Stone and Putting Out the Flare Crest
Activate the Flare Stone:
Follow the yellow marker to locate the Flare Stone near a door. Interact with the stone to trigger a cutscene.
Leave the Upper Tier for the Middle Tier:
Follow the yellow marker until the quest objective changes to "Inspect the CSC tome."
Use the Grappling Hook to reach the yellow marker leading to a pile of papers on top of a crate. Inspect the papers to activate a cutscene.
Solve the Chronosorter Puzzle:
Follow the yellow marker to a Chronosorter. Press the left arrow button until the arrow pointer is on the left side to solve the puzzle.
Turn Off the Photonvaults and the Photon Barrier:
Use a character with a long-range weapon like Chixia to hit the Photonvaults and disable the Photon Barrier. Alternatively, use a plunging attack from a melee character to hit the Photonvaults.
Enter the Carrier Room:
After disabling the Photonvaults, follow the yellow marker into the new area.
Part Two: Activating the Flare Stone and Putting Out the Flare Crest
Activate the Flare Stone:
Activate the stone in the room to progress the quest objective.
Take the Carrier Lift to the Lower Tier:
Walk towards the Carrier Lift in the middle of the area and select "To the Lower Tier."
Inspect the CSC Tome:
Find the stack of papers on top of a table on the right side of the area in the lower tier and inspect it.
Go Deeper into Truthseeker's Pass:
Follow the yellow marker until you reach a point where a cutscene plays. Continue following the yellow marker until you reach a Photonvault and Chronosorter puzzles.
Turn Off the Photonvault and Operate the Chronosorter:
Use a character with a long-range weapon to hit the Photonvaults in a specific order to solve the puzzle.
Activate the Chronosorter and press the left arrow button to move the arrow pointer to the left side.
Part Three: Activating the Flare Stone and Putting Out the Flare Crest
Defeat Lumiscale Construct: Severedge:
Approaching the third Flare Stone will activate a boss fight with Lumiscale Construct: Severedge. Defeat it to make the third Flare Stone appear.
Activate the Flare Stone:
After defeating the boss, interact with the Flare Stone in the middle of the arena.
Head to the Carrier Lift:
Follow the yellow marker to reach the Carrier Lift. Wait for the Carrier Lift to go to the upper floor on its own, then select "To the Upper Tier" when it appears.
Enter the Secret Tunnel:
Once you reach the upper tier, follow the yellow marker to enter the secret tunnel. Entering the secret tunnel completes the quest and automatically starts the next one, "Road of Pilgrimage."
