ADDENDUM: "Stealth" generally means living such that you don't get noticed. You can go "stealth" both before transition as well as after. Before by dressing as your assigned gender and "acting" as that gender so people don't harass you. After transition (assuming you "pass") by simply living as your correct gender and not drawing any extra attention to it, and not telling anyone, so everyone just assumes you are your gender. Some trans people prefer to just live and not be "activists" or outspoken about their trans identity, and that's a valid choice.
