Pat Robertson To Impoverished 80-Year-Old: Pray Harder
430Televangelist Pat Robertson on Thursday told an 80-year-old viewer, who gave more than 10 percent to the church, that she should get a job or sell stuff on eBay if she couldn’t afford her medical bills.
“My husband and I are in our 80s and have been tithing for many years,” the viewer wrote Robertson in a letter. “We both love the Lord and give willingly and our tithe is over 10 percent.”
