Here is the current best version of the mage build on repeaters. Instead of having a Legendary Ability that teleports you to a behemoth which is the previous best mage build, the current weapon i'm using is Choronovore bonded with Alyra, which means, i have a legendary ability to bring me back to life (or technically back in time), which is one of the best Legendary abilities in the game after Agarus.

The Alyra Weapons have the effect of spawning Glyphs that either *Deal 200 Radiant Damage* or *Stacking Shield for 600 max* . And guess how do you trigger the effect? Yep, it's from casting the Lantern, which makes a mage build very suitable for the Alyra, cuz mage build can help you spam lantern, which is also your source of damage. The only downside of a mage build is when you can't evade well, or the behemoth stops attacking you (which is seemingly impossible). Other than these 2, you're good to go.
