I feel like the gameplay loop is rather short. I'd of been quite happy to push through areas as quickly as possible to focus on bosses and opening up pathways, but it seems every 2 rooms or so I'm stuck in a wave-based battle that I'll need to complete before moving on. That got old real quick.

Moving past that complaint though, the game is pretty fun. It's entertaining to capture animals and then ride them through the different areas. The animals have their own specific attacks, but honestly they mostly feel the same. Combat falls squarely in an ok variety, and the game is either going to stand out to you rather quickly or it won't. The game is fun, so if you're looking for a roguelite bullet hell game with some monster taming, this is definitely worth a look.
