To do this glitch you need the following:
1. Pillar Stance
2. Sweeping Gale (first skills on the right side of the Pillar Stance tree)
3. Cloud Step (obtained from beating the Black Wind King)
After you obtain these, here is how the glitch works:
1. Make sure you're in Pillar Stance (up on the d-pad)
2. Obtain a focus point
3. Light attack
4. Heavy attack
5. As soon as the Heavy attack animation starts, spam Cloud Step (R2 + Triangle / RT + Y)
6. If done correctly, your character should shoot off the pillar stance into Cloud Step. Cloud Step will show on cooldown but you start spamming Cloud Step & Immobilize (From other videos, you can use the clone ability as well and other spells just unsure which ones exactly)
After testing I found you can rest, travel, and die while glitched and still be glitched. In my testing Red Tides breaks the glitch. I've heard the fire mantle also cancels, but have not tested.
