This will be a hybrid of a Beginner's Guide for Path of Exile 3.0 (Fall of Oriath) and a Let's play. I figured I would give the tips starting with the very basics as the game progresses instead of trying to jam everything into one long guide. There is a ton of info that goes into POE and it's easy to get overwhelmed.

In this episode I start out and do the first quest, pick up some early starter gems and get some very basic gear. I'm playing in the Challenge League which is the default.

I'll probably be following this build or some variation of it. I'll be using totems for sure though and a Templar:

The game used to have 3 acts, then 4 and now has 10. It also used to have 3 difficulty levels where you would replay the same content 3 times but now it has just the single difficulty level.
