Path of Exile Ascendancy: ELEMENTAL OVERLOAD Analysis - Non-Crit is Now Overloaded (New Keystone)
The Path of Exile Ascendancy Expansion brings with it a new Keystone between Templar and Witch - ELEMENTAL OVERLOAD. This Keystone Passive grants 40% MORE elemental damage for 8 seconds when you critically strike. However, you lose all of your critical strike multiplier. This keystone is a very big buff to non-crit spellcasters in particular and it takes almost no investment to run. In this video I explain the keystone, the types of builds it can be used in, show it in action and talk about the balancing implications it has for GGG in the Ascendancy Expansion.

How would I balance it? I'm not sure that it even needs changing. This may be a reasonable buff to non crit spellcasters. However, I do think it would be more interesting if it took more investment. Perhaps a slight nerf to the duration would do it? 6 seconds? 5 Seconds?
