Path Of Radiance Random Playthrough Chapter 26: Taking On A Chunk Of Daien's Population
0This is one of the bloodiest battles in this playthrough, as it basically just fight a crap ton of soldiers in the open plains with our super crew. We also take on the 2nd rider Bertram in this chapter, the mad rider and one of Deains actual riders. This battle isn't hard per say, but it is a lengthy grind to get through all of Daein's nicely organized men, as well as some long range magic spooks me quite a bit here. Luckily Tormod doesn't slow us down here too much (also provoke on Tauroneo is a godsend)

I will be playing on Normal mode for this run. Makes it less fail proof and just more carefree
Ike is free, as is Mist (It ensures me a healer and It makes black knight easier by a bit). Everyone else but the royals/Nasir/Ena are fair game
So to make sure I dont get dicked early (which say i get all late game units, and no greil mercs, it would be possible but would be Ike grinding/boring/RNG dependant) I will have this thought. If I get 2 greil mercs in my Random with Ike, thats enough (IE Boyd Ike Rhys). However since that is a low chance, to make it full proof, Titania is free if I dont get any until Chapter 8 is beaten. By chapter 9 mist and Ike will be there so its fine then
Endgame reinforcement is randomed (Giffca, Tibarn, Naesala, or None).
Thieves are free exclusively for opening doors/chests, they get no combat unless they're picked.
The endgame map has 14 slots, so except my two free picks, that means twelve units are random (Edit: Units, not spots).
I might recruit for items, but never for combat. Stefan for example has a occult scroll I will get no matter what, even if him or Lethe isn't in my units (They wont fight)
I will try to not to break the game via Bonus EXP
