MW2 Crossbow Unlock Challenges! (Path of the Ronin Event Challenges Revealed MW2 Warzone 2)

So yesterday it was revealed that a new event called Path of the Ronin will be starting next week with Season 2

We already know that there are going to be a total of 7 challenges for this event each of which are based on the Seven Virtues of Bushido, Those are Integrity, Respect, Courage, Honor, Compassion, Sincerity and Loyalty.

Each of these challenges will have their own rewards like weapon charms and gun screens but for completing all 7 of these challenges you’ll unlock the new crossbow marksman rifle.

This morning we’ve actually gotten some more information about how this event is going to work and the first set of challenges have been revealed.

The good news is that for each of these challenges we’re going to be able to choose between whether we want to do it in Multiplayer or in Warzone and the challenge for each of the virtues will be slightly different depending on which mode you do it in.

The bad news is that it sounds like only 3 challenges will be available at the start of Season 2 and the other 4 will become active throughout the season, So we’re not going to be able to get our hands on the crossbow straight away unless we purchase a bundle.

Now like I say, the challenges for the first 3 virtues have been revealed this morning, so lets take a look at what they are.

First is Integrity. For this one you either need to Win 15 matches in any MW2 multiplayer game mode or in Warzone you need to finish top 10 in Battle Royale or Resurgence 5 different times.

Overall both are pretty easy but to smash this one out quickly i’m thinking Free for all is going to be the place to get it done as you only need to place top 3 in order for it to count as a win.

Next is Honor and for this you can either Get 100 objective defense kills, or in Warzone Collect your own dog tag 5 times.

For the objective defense kills this just means that you need to get 100 total kills while you’re on a hardpoint or domination zone that’s captured by your own team and for the dog tags in Warzone this is referencing the new restore honor feature in resurgence where the first time you die, you’ll drop a dog tag and once you spawn back in you’ll need to drop back on it and pick it up 5 different times

Finally is the Sincerity Challenge which for multiplayer is to get 50 kills using Battle rage field upgrade which is pretty self explanatory or in Warzone you need to complete 5 bounty contracts which will be made easier because all you need to do is complete the contracts. So that means someone else on your team, someone else on an enemy team or even an AI could kill the bounty target then it will still complete the contract and progress your challenge.
