Electrostatic potential V has been measured everywhere outside a spherical body of radius R made of unknown material. If was found that the potential is spherically symmetric, i.e. depends only on the distance r from the centre of the sphere as given by the expression V = A/r, where A is a constant. No measurement of the potential inside the sphere has been done. What can you conclude for charge distribution of the body ?
