This update is the result of your constant support and input. You’ve been instrumental in shaping it and we are thankful for everybody that shared their feedback since our Early Access launch, on both Steam and Discord. Since launch, we improved our Steam review score by over 25%. We're excited to introduce update version 1.0.2377 that brings new significant features and adjustments.
Collectibles: We are introducing a new meta progression feature. You can now find collectable cards by seeking Tar-Baphon statues throughout all levels. Each card showcases stunning official Pathfinder artwork from the following decks: Weapons & Armor, Adventure Gear, Bestiary 1, 2 & 3 Battle Cards. All cards unlock permanent bonuses that can be activated.
Manual Aiming: You asked for this feature from the beginning and we’re happy to announce that you can now control specific attacks with manual aiming for precise targeting in battle. It is an optional feature. You can still choose to play with the standard automatic aiming.
New Dice Skins & Achievements: We added a feature that allows you to customize your dice skin. They can be unlocked by completing specific achievements.
New Mini-Bosses: Encounter formidable mini-bosses on each floor, adding an extra layer of excitement and difficulty to your journey.
Dash Upgrade: You can now enjoy an increased dash distance and reduced cooldown that improves mobility in battle.
Chest Rarity: Your chests now come in various rarities, with loot items matching the chest's rarity.
Balance Changes: The end-game experience is now more challenging, with collections offering permanent buffs that require strategic decisions to succeed.
Tutorial Page in Options: Whether you're a newcomer or need a refresher on the main game mechanics, you can now access a tutorial screen in the options menu.
Loading Screen Enhancements: Loading screens now feature informative prompts with quick tips.
Increased Gold Rewards: Gold rewards have been amplified fourfold, allowing you to farm gold at a faster pace.
Bug Fixes: We've resolved various bugs in order to ensure a smoother gameplay experience.
So the thing is that Pathfinder Gallowspire Survivors keeps getting better and better. Honestly, I just can't keep up with the huge updates they are putting out! Custom dice, collectible cards, and manual aim! All we need to have a much better core gameplay loop and a better time :)
