A small ball of mass m = 1.0 g and charge q = 2.0 micro C is falling vertically with terminal velocity u = 0.1 m/s in a viscous fluid. After a uniform and constant horizontal magnetic field of induction B is switched on, it is observed that the ball acquires another terminal velocity and power dissipated in the viscous fluid becomes n = 0.5 times of the power dissipated prior to switching on the magnetic field. At what maximum value of magnetic induction is this possible ? Dependence of the viscous forces on the velocity is unknown.
