The encounter with Shamira was nerfed as of update 1.10.i She no longer casts debuffs on you in between checks. Too many players complained about the difficulty spike so the devs had to change it... Mind blank and the dead inside ring will still work, if you want an easy time. I didn't really see much of a challenge to it, but I guess not everyone found the ring and the mind blank scroll (or thought about using them.)

In this episode I overcome Shamira's mind games via mind blank and the Dead Inside Ring. After that, Nocticula gives me a call. Next episode is sort of a shopping and leveling episode. I don't think I will be able to come back to the Midnight Isle's, so I need to buy what I can. Oh, I also retrain to power through the lexicon skill checks and then do my final character retrain, in preparation for my constitution to become voided.
