OK, now I feel like I know what I'm doing. This is a game that gives just enough tools and just enough space to get done what you need to get done, but it's also pretty straightforward. Puzzles don't seem to have any red herrings or false leads, so to say - they're just giving you a tricky task to get done, and asking the player if they know how to use what they have just right.
That means I can draw some pretty good inferences just from what the situation looks like, without actually having to do that much pushing! Which is perfect, because the idea of the pushing game is the interesting part. The pushing itself is just sort of the medium through which the idea has to be expressed and executed.
