A creature of Aztec myth, the Ahuizotl was an ambush predator that usually lurked in the water, read to drag victims in with the hand that grew on its tail.
At least that's what my kid told me, and he had proof from some book of monsters, so it must be true.
Kind of like a Meso American kappa or kelpie.
A visually interesting monster to say the least- I just worry about those protrusions on its back. My understanding is they are supposed to be clumps of hair, but they look a bit like ears.

If I was any good at making bases I would totally have him half submerged and leaping out of the water. Sadly, I'm not good at making bases!
With the amount of South American and water based monsters I have it seems we're going to have to have some intrepid adventurers brave the murky depths of the Lustrian jungles in the near future!
