三個陣營可選，選擇好後會連同另外兩個子派系也能開放使用，各陣營有各自的勝利目標，這次我選擇的GDI便是要在另兩個陣營達成目標之前完成自己的 一 殲滅對方或是讓全球33%的範圍處於我的完全控制下
地圖上有幾個特色區域，綠色便是泰伯倫礦區，只要位於基地範圍內便能在每回合之後採收一部分，有鑑於成長速度，所以擴張基地也很重要
小方塊是城市，GDI必須讓城市顏色處於藍色的穩定狀態，只要城市位於基地影響範圍便可以慢慢收到成效，GDI也有額外資源是從穩定的城市收取
船錨圖案是港口，GDI與Nod部隊可以藉由港口移動到其他港口，而Scrin則是利用自己的蟲洞技術來快速調動部隊
これはDLCで追加された新しいゲームモードです。AIとチェスをするようなものです。残念ながらオンラインモードはありません。たとえオープンオンラインモードがあったとしても、ゲームクリアに何年かかるかは分かりません。3つの派閥から選択できます。選択後、他の2つのサブ派閥も利用できます。各派閥にはそれぞれ勝利目標があります。今回はGDIを選択し、他の2つの派閥が目標を達成する前に自分の目標を達成しました。1つは相手を全滅させるか、世界の33%を完全に支配下に置くことです。
