PC Engine Arcade Card Catalog Exploration (Part 2/2) - Retro Pals
The TurboGrafx-16 saw hardware upgrades with the CD-ROM add-on and later the TurboDuo unit, but Japan got an additional boost of hardware horsepower with 1994's Arcade Card. The Arcade Card surpasses the capabilities of the 3.0 Super System Card, equipping the PC Engine CD-ROM with 2MB of RAM and enabling accurate ports of contemporary Neo Geo arcade games like Fatal Fury Special.
In this two-part series, we explore every single game released for the Arcade Card format in chronological order. All gameplay footage is captured using an original PC Engine Duo console with an Arcade Card Duo expansion. Are any of these games worth playing today? Let's find out!
