PC Game - Lotus The Ultimate Challenge released by Gremlin in 1993. This is essencially a port of the Amiga game Lotus Turbo Challenge III.

This is a vdeo of a Failed longplay (messed up last track on easy). But I have upped it instead to show the PC music rendered with the current release of DosboxSVN MT-32 Emulation compiled by Taewoong.(25.5.2011). Youll need to jump around the video to hear all the tracks. Race 1 tests the snd effects. Too bad the game didnt allow snd effects on adlib/snd blaster and music on mt-32.

First thaught when seeing the track open is that the cars look squished. This is partialy by game design. Game engine performs better using a 320x200 screen instead of 320x240. The idea is you use you screen controls to stretch the game to fill the screen and have it look correct. The cars look right, but the text looks stretched.

The Amiga will ways have the deffinative version of Lotus III and its tunes, but the pc version isnt bad when hooked up to this synth (well as far as I can tell by emulation lol).
