I think it's really a great shooter because it has something fresh and new to it. You're fighting with jets so called "Vectors" which can fly just like you expect a jet to fly and a in rather static hovermode for precise aiming and quick maneuvers. It's 6 DOF which meant you can turn in every direction as long as you want and the mouse controls are making it quite easy to do so however you'll find yourdelf crashing a lot in the first few hours but then when you got used to the game its just plain fun and even more if you find yourself killing some enemies. Also you can customize your vehicle with parts, colors and patterns as you earn them by leveling up. (reached max. level after 2-3 days -so no big deal)
And the HUD is really showing you everything you need to know im almost always playing with music on because you dont have to rely on the sounds which.
