Can make the browser window absolutely small to have the correct video playback fps to compensate for yts html5 slowdowns.

For Windows PC & Cell Phones, to have a better experience watching youtube videos without playback choppiness or slowdowns, one can also preload the video in segments.

First, set the desired resolution quality to your main preference. DO NOT push auto. The way to do this is to focus on the white bar next to the red bar. Now, the easiest way I do this method is, rather than waiting for seconds to pass by normally, I skip forward throughout the video (right arrow key) until the white bar saves to a certain amount. Max could go up to 2:00 - 2:30 mins saved, at least for me that is.

Then all you've got to do is skip backwards (left arrow key) to the same amount of how much you skipped forward WHILE keeping the white bar still cached/queued but not resetting it. If it does, repeat the same steps & lower the amount saved.

Note: This was tested on Windows PC & Cellular Phone. Does not work for PS4. Do not go too far forward nor too far backward or the white bar queue will reset and your video will buffer while playing, slowing the overall quality down dramatically. Remember not to use the auto preset.

Then you will have a full quality/speed youtube experience that the video was meant to be played originally. One negates the choppiness and slowdowns from youtube's streaming methods & techniques.

Why they did not decide to preload the entirety of uploaders videos before you watch while waiting, that is beyond me.

Restarting your pc + monitor after watching a single video may yield better results.

You can also go to your Nvidia settings if you have an Nvidia GPU and under display you can click "Adjust desktop size and position" and set to GPU under "Perform scaling on" with a checkmark on "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs."

Under video in the Nvidia settings, click on "Adjust video color settings" and "Adjust video image settings" and under 2. check the "With the nvidia settings circle" and under 2. check the "Use the nvidia setting" for both edge enhancement and noise reduction. Under Deinterlacing, uncheck "Use inverse telecine." Your video should be smoother offline and probably online on ytube.
