6Testing out PCSX2 quality for Ratchet & Clank.
A few graphical glitches still occur. Such as:
* There are frequent frame drops, which can make the game feel a tad uncoordinated or like it's slower or heavier than normal to play (moderate).
* Slowdown in areas with large amounts of loading (moderate).
* Menu's only have a tiny image in the corner instead of a full background, but text is still readable (minor).
* Ending credits background display is broken, and shows overlapping images instead of one solid one (mild).
* For some people, different Speedhacks presets work better, depending on your CPU. Many people recommend having the Preset set to 1, but 3 works better for others. Personally, I can leave it off.
* Since the game is so CPU intensive, you may need to record with GPU if you want to archive footage (personal).
Keep in mind that the base game is technically locked to 50fps on the PS2. You will not be able to achieve a base frame rate higher than that.
This game, on top of mipmapping, is *very* CPU intensive, so you will likely need an i5 or higher processor, or it's equivalent, in order to play smoothly. (I have an i7 and even I have a few problems). You may also need to lower the resolution to 720p or Native.
