5Testing out PCSX2 quality for Xenosaga Episode 2: Jenseits von Gut und Böse.
A few graphical glitches still occur. Such as:
* The game must run at a resolution of X=+1 your desktop resolution (example: 1281x720 instead of 1280x720), or at a custom resolution of 1366x768, otherwise there will be shadow glitches (severe).
* Running the game at a custom resolution causes menu glitches (minor).
* If the menu glitches are too severe, you can set Skipdraw to 1;1, and/or set the Texture Offsets to X=200;Y=400 to reduce them slightly. However, this may undo the shadow fix. Any higher than this will affect the character models.
* Small shadow glitches still occur in some cutscenes (minor).
* Shadows underneath destructible objects are too pronounced, but this fixes itself as soon as the object is destroyed (moderate).
* Audio popping and mild slowdown during intense loading (minor).
* Some people experience missing battle sound effects. If you do, go into Speedhacks and enable fast CDVD.
Many cutscenes in Xenosaga 2 are actually pre-rendered, so that's why the quality shifts so much between scenes. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix this outside of an official HD remaster.
Due to the original video upload receiving a copyright strike and getting banned worldwide, some portions of audio are muted. As this change was made by YouTube, it may affect video quality slightly as well.
