This is part of a series of ghost comparison videos for Mario Kart DS, showcasing two of the best time trial runs in the world racing side-by-side for a given track. This is made possible thanks to MKDasher's input display script as well as Pikalex04's method for syncing two separate runs together on DeSmuME.

If there is ever a time to be involved in Mario Kart DS, or even just to spectate its high level competition, it is now. This is the game's new golden age; what the wonder boy from Japan, and the community's much loved Spaniard are doing, is not being done in any other competitive game today.

The battle for Peach Gardens between one of (if not two) of the best Mario Kart players of all time has been nothing short of mesmerising. When the 1'24 barrier was smashed in 2014 with almost 2 laps of PRB performed, the standard was seemingly set so very high... little did we know what was to come in 2022.
