PEDRO PASCAL KNOWS THEY DON'T WANT HIM LIKE REED RICHARDS IN FANTASTIC FOUR FIRST STEPS
Pedro Pascal breaks his silence on criticism over his portrayal of Reed Richards in Fantastic Four.
Pedro Pascal finally addresses the controversy surrounding his casting as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) in the upcoming MCU film, Fantastic Four: First Steps. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the Mandalorian and The Last of Us actor admitted that he has felt the "discontent" of some fans, more than with any other role he has played so far.
But he is not alone: Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man and the new Doctor Doom, has been instrumental in reassuring him and giving him the necessary support for this new cinematic challenge.
With its MCU debut scheduled for July 2025, Marvel Studios is betting heavily on this film after the poor performance of others like Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts. Will Pedro Pascal be the Reed Richards fans need?
