IRONHEART IS THE WORST MARVEL SERIES ACCORDING TO ITS OWN EMPLOYEES
59In a recent post, popular commentator Nerdrotic claimed that “people within Marvel consider Ironheart the worst thing they've ever done.” According to these sources, the series went through nearly a dozen re-edits and was on hiatus for two and a half years before its premiere.
Production on Ironheart was completed between mid-2021 and early 2022, but it was released in 2025 with almost no promotion, in three episodes at a time. This, coupled with extensive editing changes, has resulted in a series perceived as disjointed and directionless, with a lukewarm response from both audiences and critics.
