If you're a life-long fan of Mst3k, you probably know the history of fans who were getting tired of hearing Penn Jillette (then-currently the spokesman of Comedy Central from 1991-1998, I believe) talking over the end credits of episodes (which to be honest, I thought was kind of a stupid thing to complain about honestly). This was eventually addressed around July 1993 during his voice over credit announcements, and there are at least two known instances of episodes that have Penn (passive-aggressively, though still understandable with his frustrations) calling out fans in the end credits: a 7/3/93 airing of "Mighty Jack," and a 7/8/93 airing of "Viking Women and the Sea Serpent."
