This video is of some bot multiplayer gameplay from the game Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64.

I still had a lot of fun with the singleplayer of this game, but the multiplayer doesn't hold up well at all. Even back in the day its problems annoyed me.

You cannot spawn with a weapon in multiplayer. At least I could find no option to do so. This is very annoying since whoever gets a weapon first just kills you over and over.

Another problem, is the disarming mechanic. When you are unarmed you can punch someone and they lose their weapon which you can pickup. Sounds cool right?

Well, its a neat idea in theory, but the way its executed ruins the multiplayer. You spawn unarmed and by the time you manage to finally pickup a agun, you get punched once and lose that gun lol. On top of that when you get punched more than once your vision becomes extremely blurred making it nearly impossible to see.

EVEN WORSE, often when you die and respawn again, your vision is still blurry from the punches you took on your last life!!! This is maddening because it makes the game nearly unplayable when your vision is blurred like that.

Perfect Dark's multiplayer has a lot of amazingly cool weapons to use, but the multiplayer mechanics just feel broken or not tested enough. I prefer goldeney 007 multiplayer much more than Perfect Dark's.
