Perfect Dark is a first person shooter developed by Rare and released for memory expanded Nintendo 64 consoles back in the year 2000. It follows Joanna Dark, an agent of the Carrington Institute research centre, as she attempts to stop an extraterrestrial conspiracy by rival corporation dataDyne. The game features a campaign mode where the player must complete a series of levels to progress through the story, as well as a range of multiplayer options, including a co-operative mode and traditional deathmatch settings with computer-controlled bots.
The game is a spiritual successor to Goldeneye 007, sharing the same engine and secret agent theme, although with a sci-fi theme.

Manejas a Joanna Dark, una agente del centro de investigación del Instituto Carrington, mientras intenta detener una conspiración extraterrestre por una corporación rival llamada dataDyne. Presenta un modo de campaña en el que el jugador debe completar una serie de niveles para avanzar en la historia, así como una variedad de opciones multijugador, que incluyen un modo cooperativo y configuraciones tradicionales de combate a muerte con bots controlados por computadora.
Es un sucesor espiritual de Goldeneye 007, usando el mismo motor y tema de agentes secretos, aunque con temática de ciencia ficción.
