People like to make this mission out to be nearly impossible when it's nowhere near as hard as it's claimed to be. And it's not that long. Hell, it's probably the only decent Special Assignment out of the other two.

Use the Psychosis Gun to get the dual-wielding DY357-LX mook on your side and he'll be able to take care of the first half of this level for you.
Didn't feel the need to restart the mission for the 30th time just to demonstrate this, though (partly because the bastard is hard to get a clear shot on).

Just recently, I've discovered an Easter Egg on YouTube that houses four hidden guards in the blue uniforms. These guards are to be killed by explosions (meaning throwing Dragons near designated spots and shooting them). By killing them, it supposedly prevents them from spawning and chasing after you.

I'm using the standard gray OEM controller for the system.
