A review of the Perfex aluminum pepper mill. This beautiful aluminum design houses the best pepper grinder I've ever used. The design is sturdy but also functional, and it holds a surprising number of peppercorns. The best part is that the door can't pop open and spray peppercorns all over my kitchen, which happened twice with my Oxo pepper grinder (do not buy this one!), until I finally had to tape it shut after every refill.
