I have been trying to get a good upscale of this opening for the longest time but I can never quite get it right... this is probably the best I can do for a while. It is still way to soft for my liking but I am unable to do much better sadly. [My Process] I started by extracting the persona 3 fes iso then extracted the file called DATA.CVM (you can just do this with 7zip) the openings are in the folder SFD and the first opening is called P3CTOP.SFD. After I locate the file I used VGMToolbox to extract this to a .m2v and .adx file. After that I use vapourstyth to filter the video using a denoiser and most important a deinterlacer called qtgmc. I then used ffmepg to extract the image sequence of the video and then upscaled each frame using esrgan with the model deviantPixel and Manga109 interpolated with a value of .6. After all that is done I put every frame back together using ffmpeg and then convert the .adx file using VGMGUI (you can just use vlc) and I muxed the video and audio back together with mkvtoolnix. By the way I am bad at typing this kind of thing out but if anyone wants I could try to do a video tutorial on my process anywho look out for more upscales.
