Persona 3 RELOAD - A Faithful (and BETTER) Remake
75Persona 3 was originally released for the Playstation 2. A spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series, it's a JRPG that retains the feel of combat of Megaten games, but it also comes with a dating sim!
An upgraded version would be released shortly after on the same console - Persona 3 FES. Neither of them was the game I played back in the day, however. What I had was the port for the PSP - Persona 3 Portable (P3P). It was awesome, I dove into Tartarus and got to know its great characters, but I never finished it. Neither did my little cousin who played it with me back in the day.
I've finished a lot of Megaten games since abandoning Persona 3 Portable - Devil Survivor, Strange Journey, Persona 5 Royal to name a few. It's been a while since I played a game from the series. SMT V was alright, but it wasn't the best.
Unbeknownst to me, a remake of Persona 3 was released! I only found out about it 2 months after the fact. This was my chance to redeem myself, to push through the unavoidable battles, to battle for everyone's souls, and to burn my dread. Persona 3 Reload, here I come.
