I've recently found new ways to have fun in Halo 5; by tracking my highest kill count in a firefight game. For over 2 weeks it was stuck at 178 kills on Apex 7. Last night however, I had a game that was so ridiculous, and I beat my previous record by a longshot. I personally don't see myself beating my record again, just because of all the things that have to happen for the opportunity to arise are now extremely rare.

By the end of round 1 I had achieved level 3 REQ level. I then got a wraith by using a random vehicle card, and then, by the end of round 3 my wraith was destroyed and I was at level 8 REQs. I took a risky chance and re spawned back in with a precious Phaeton. Once round 4 began I knew my risky decision was not in vain. We had to defend the fortress. In that round alone I accumulated over 70 kills. In round 5 I pretty much concentrated on all the enemy units, so my team mates could concentrate on the bosses. Once I killed as much as I could inside the home base, I then fought the two remaining hunters and eventually died right before the end of the game.
