All the pesky pests should fear him because he will never stop until all of them are eliminated. Take up your weapon and shoot them in this action-packed shooting game called Pest Hunter! Your mission here is to survive each stage and shoot all the spiders, cockroaches, and other insects that will appear in the area. Be sure to avoid their projectiles or else you will lose health. There are power-ups or items that you can pick up to gain more firepower, extra health and bonus coins. Use your coins to upgrade your character's armor or get new powerful guns.

Overview

Pest Hunter is a cool and fun flash game that has you playing as a bug exterminator, you have been called upon to clean the house up of bugs, and you'll be glad to do so, and so the war against man and bug begins, the game features a lot of stages for you to go through, each one of them divided into smaller levels that contain a lot of bugs for you to kill, and a lot of obstacles for you to evade, and if somehow you managed to survive the little bugs, you'll need to confront their big ugly bosses, very tough and resilient, and if you are not well equipped, your character will die very quickly, fortunately, the game does provide a lot of weapons and upgrades that you can use, they are locked though, and you'll need to buy them with the coins you collect to be able to unlock them and use them against the enemies, there are extra lives, vests and boots that adds hp and allow you to play the game longer, and there are weapons like machine guns, laser guns, grenade launchers, plasma guns and even the dreaded mega blaster that lets you kill more enemies throughout the levels, so lock and load and get ready to blast those pesky bugs into oblivion here in Pest Hunter.

Graphics and Sound

Graphics is 2D and kinda flat, the design look quite nice though even if details aren't really that high, besides the main character, the bug designs are quite varied, they have different looks and even move in different ways, the environment is also nice, you'll encounter different obstacles that will surely test your maneuvering skills, it looks rather dark though as the game is set in the sewers, the colors are pretty nice making every character and object quite easy to distinguish from one another, the game animations too are quite nice while the character movement is pretty smooth and responsive to the controls, the game's music is awesome by the way, it sounds pretty intense making the game more exciting to play while the sound effects are cool, not really very realistic but still kinda cool to hear, the game special effects are also nice, the weapon fire and all the other effects are quite simple...basic even but still kinda looked nice, overall, the game's simple presentation and the cool in game music kinda makes this one quite cool.

Gameplay

The game is quite easy to play, the character fires automatically in one direction so you will only be in charge of dodging enemy fire and evading obstacles, besides the cool weapons and upgrades that you can buy at the shops, there are also some special items that you can pick up and use in your war against bugs, there are health icons that replenishes your health, shields that protect your character from those deadly spider webs, speed boosts that allows you to move more quickly and many more, the control is also very simple and easy, all you need is the mouse, move it around the screen and your character will follow, you don't even need to click it to fire your weapons.

Features

Pest Hunter features some simple 2D graphics, there are a lot of stages you need to go through, lots of cool weapons to use, character upgrades and even cool powerups, and it has very simple controls for everyone to try.

Conclusion

I like this one, it's not really as easy as it looks, it gave me quite a challenge when I played it, try it, this is a cool time passer for everyone to play.
