Peter's Pile of Shame #7 - Penumbra: Overture Pt.2
Still trapped in the mines with the spiders and evil dogs, Peter must press on to find out exactly what is going on, and hopefully stay alive long enough to do so. Penumbra Overture was a hell of a lot of fun last week, so this episode is a continuation.
In this, the first chapter in Frictional Games' Penumbra series - Penumbra: Overture, you play as Philip, a scientist who finds himself trapped in a mysterious mine beneath the frozens wastes of Greenland. Using the game's physics engine you must solve puzzles and unlock new paths that lead deeper into the dark. Avoid the rabid dogs & giant spiders and find clues as to who has ventured into the mine before you.
And don't forget to vote for next week's game in the comments; as it is the end of Shocktoberfest, there are two indie horror titles to choose from at the end of the video.
It's the curse of every PC gamer - The Pile of Shame.
A stack of games that grows ever larger with every Steam sale and Humble Bundle. You convince yourself you'll *eventually* get around to playing them... but never do. Well Peter is saying enough is enough and is going to conquer his Pile of Shame little by little, every Wednesday at 7pm.
