Petersen Games: Unboxing the Lords of the Apocalypse!
65A box weighing close to 40 pounds arrived the other day. It was Planet Apocalypse.
Some of these models were responsible for a good chunk of that weight.
I decided to just take a look at the extra Lords of Hell that were separate from the core game or boxed expansions... included Cthulhu. He is certainly one of the biggest game pieces I've seen!
For board game pieces I'm quite happy. They are certainly unique looking models and each Lord (and Lady) are quite distinct from one another.
Also quite impressive is the Spider Mastermind, based on the Doom enemy that Sandy Petersen was involved with designing.
With the stay at home orders in place I'm quite looking forward to getting a chance to play (and most likely lose) with these models!
