DO NOT EQUIP THE PSYCHO ROD. It needs to be in your inventory in order to properly use it and you need to use it in order to win. Anyways on turn 1 have either Chaz or Rune use the psycho rod to neutralize the barrier and make sure Demi, Rika, and Gryz throw their buffs up. Outside of the psycho rod there aren't any crazy tricks here it's just a tough RPG boss. Watch out for his attack that reduces you to 1 HP even without the god buff this is still a fairly tough battle and mark the end of the games first act. After this fight Demi and Gryz will leave your party for a long while so don't worry about them getting experience.
