Well, here's what I've been workin' on for the past few months. Might have to turn the volume up after the intro (honestly it would've been out sooner if I hadn't made that animation for it). Regardless, this is the first review I've done in ages and, hopefully, my best one yet.

I really did love playing Phantom 2040 when I was younger. Hopefully we still have our SNES version somewhere. In fact, I'm hard pressed to say I'm the one person on the planet, aside from maybe the creators, that knows the game and has studied it that well. There's hardly any actual videos for this thing and it was a bitch to get footage of the Secret Labs, ESPECIALLY for the SNES version. NO ONE ever goes that way for some reason, even though it's like one of the coolest things in the game.

In all I think I might actually like the Genesis one a bit more, and that's probably cause of the backgrounds. Just so much better to me in that version. However, the SNES one is FAR fairer when it comes to the difficulty (god do I hate the Harvesters in the Genesis version...). Probably helps that you can get an item in the Super Nintendo version that you CAN NOT in the Sega one (I think it like halves the damage it takes to kill enemies).

Either way, I'd definitely recommend you pick the game up if you ever see it.
