Phantom Liberty and Update 2.0 saved Cyberpunk 2077
6Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is now out and people are asking if it is actually worth buying. I was very critical at first about the expansion and the updates CD Projekt is being doing on the game but I owe Phantom Liberty and Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 an apology.
Yes this game is worth buying and it could be easily a masterpiece in gaming.
In fact it turns out I was worrying too much and the update and the Phantom Liberty DLC have actually become phenomenal.
Night City just looks way more alive, dangerous, fighting has become more exciting and driving has.... changed...
Of course there are some bugs and issues. I still experience some stuttering in the game and when using an old save you get all kinds of issues, you will need to fix manually like your cyberware being broken, equipment not showing and of course your skill tree being entirely empty.
All in all I enjoy the latest update though there is a lot to get used to.
Sadly this is the last bigger update to Cyberpunk 2077 so we should enjoy every single moment of it.
