After returning to Max, Wright gave a fabulous recreation of the events that day. Turns out, aside from negotiating his salary, Max and Ben seems to be in a big love triangle with Regina....and tempers flared, hence the broken bottle they found in the cafeteria. He reveals that Trilo Quist, the puppet Ben uses in his act was hidden by Max after the argument.
They find the doll in question in the Ringmaster's room behind some trophies. After returning it to Ben, they were set to leave when suddenly the little guy starts running his mouth off! Turns out he also has his eye on Regina...though that attitude definitely needs more tuning than his singing.
The pair searched the big top and Wright got his badge stolen by a cheeky monkey! Regina told him that Money (the thieving monkey) always steals any shiny object he can get his hands on and takes them back to his home. She suggests talking to Moe about finding him, and that's what they do.
He then shows them his home, the third floor apartment of the lodgings. Apparently the monkey shares a room with the circus acrobat Acro but it seems he's out today. Among the shiny pile of objects, Wright finds his badge....and an engraved ring.
